I've had no problems with slippage or double hits. I'm extremely happy with their addition. Assembly was fairly simple. If you enjoy playing the drums on RB, you will love these cymbals.
Aside from occassional slipping, these have been rock solid since the day I received them. These add a more realistice approach to your drumming experience. The only issue, and this is not due to the Mnfg of the Cymbals, is wehn playing GH games, the Blue and Green Cymbal, when struck will lock your game up.
They made playing the drums more interesting and fun, not to mention more challenging. Will order from this supplier again. These cymbals were an excellent addition to our RB2 drum set. They came packaged very well with no damages.
so far so good, you need to get used to how to use them, the only thing is that it can be attached to the drums by only one support. Besides this I do recommend it.Thanks. I bought this stand alone cymbal since I already had the other 2 so I thought I will go all the way and have the three of them. Due to this and its length, it tents to move a lot while playing.
Happy drumming. There is no way to buy the double bracket separately. However, in free play practice, you can have a ton of fun.Just a note about buying. The cymbals work great and I have no problems. The only downside is that you can't tell whether the color note on the screen is for a tom or cymbal just by looking at it. There is a special double bracket that comes only with the triple cymbal kit and the single cymbal kit, otherwise you have no way to mount an additional cymbal.
I ran into this problem and was told by MadCatz that the single cymbal kit is meant to complete the set for those who own the double cymbal kit. Assembling it all wasn't easy though, and it took about an hour. The cymbals, in my opinion, are not as loud as the Rockband 1 drums, but a little louder than the Rockband 2 drums. In terms of sound, the yellow, blue, and green drum pads become toms. if you buy the double cymbal kit, and you wish to later add a third cymbal, you must buy the single cymbal kit. I also recommend using plastic/silicon tipped drumsticks. I picked up the cymbal kit and am very happy with it.
I tried with wooden tip sticks and it was not only louder but immediately left scratches and scuffs on the cymbals.During gameplay, you can use either the cymbal or the regular drum pad for a particular color note and you will score points for the correct note. You can't just buy two double cymbal kits intending to use 3 and have one cymbal left over.
